What I Treat
– Madeline Barger LMFT BCBA CST
For as long as I could remember, I was a mover. Needed to be going, sensing, experiencing. Later I realized that no matter what my mood was or what was happening in my life, I felt better when I was moving. My attitude improved, things didn’t feel so overwhelming and too big for me. Moving made me feel competent. This is what I want to share with others. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and certified yoga therapist (IAYT) and trained in EMDR. Pairing yoga therapy, movement and mental health strategies to help others is my passion.
Individual Sessions: In our first appointment we will complete a thorough assessment of what is going on in your life including medical history, mental health, social relationships, and stressors. From there, we will create a set of goals to work on. A typical session will include both talk therapy and movement depending on your unique treatment plan.
Workshops: Corporate wellness and group supervision for mental health clinics. In group settings, I can offer yoga classes, yoga therapy, group dynamic and individual interpersonal relationship trainings with the Enneagram Personality Profiles. No two workshops are alike and I would work with you to identify your company’s goals, frequency of sessions, and successful outcomes.
Let’s start working together.
